As the six Labour leadership candidates make their case to the Labour membership and wider audience, they may want to bear in mind these sage like words from American philosopher R Buckminster Fuller.
Bucky had this to say,'You can never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the exisitng model obsolete'.
As you observe the Labour Leadership candidates making their pitches, consider whether what you are witnessing comes from the framework of a new model. Or is it simply more of the same dressed up as new?
Can you feel the proposition of the future in their language; mindsets; thinking; behaviour; feeling. If you can, then perhaps they have truly attracted the future into the present.
